thinkings

I wanted to teach the entire program, but figured they wouldn’t benefit. So why do it? But then I realized how thin it was, the argument. And it would never satisfy deep down. Only cursory satisfactions and even then he wasn’t sure where they came from (and perhaps why they came, but, well, you understand). At least I was doing something. A first step of sorts. A lack of options too. But King promised that vocabulary improves with reading and writing. Reading actual stuff. Real stuff, not that which wastes hours, weeks, decades. I suppose reading challenging things is the next step. One can talk about it and keep at it for a good period of time, but apparently the only way to really truly do it is to do it.

The unfortunate six pack. They arrive so seldom now, what with the increase in knowledge and expansion of tastes and idiosyncrasies. Which apparently has an s near the end and not a c. Learning never gets old. There might be something to that. I think I’ll look into it. You never know what you’ll see or what you’ll get out of it or who you’ll meet or what they’ll ask or what makes you happy. Will you like real work? Or will the song remain the same? I do think there is a way in which to change. Lose a modicum of cynicism. Which apparently has an i in it and not an a.
